What's actually in a GooseCreek candle
No paraffin. No lead. No phthalates. Just four ingredients we're proud to list.
Coconut-soy wax
A creamy blend of US-grown coconut and soy wax. Burns 30% cooler than paraffin, throws fragrance beautifully, and is 100% renewable.
Lead-free cotton wicks
Braided cotton with a paper core — never lead or zinc. Every wick is tested to ASTM F2417 for burn safety.
IFRA-approved fragrance oils
Formulated in New Jersey and compliant with the International Fragrance Association safety standards. Phthalate-free.
Nothing else
No dyes, no UV inhibitors, no palm wax, no petroleum. If it's not on this page, it's not in the jar.
What we don't use
- No paraffin — a petroleum byproduct that releases soot when burned
- No phthalates — common fragrance carriers linked to health concerns
- No lead or zinc wicks — banned in the US since 2003, and rightfully so
- No synthetic dyes — our candles are naturally cream-colored, always
- No animal testing, ever — cruelty-free and vegan certified
